For Festival Ponchos

Choose your preferred panel finish:

• Uneven Festival Style – Kantha panels extend beyond the t-shirt length for a layered, boho-inspired look.

• Even Length Style – Kantha panels finish approximately even with the t-shirt length for a more balanced silhouette.

For Patchwork Flare Jeans

Please provide:

• Your inseam measurement

• Where you would like the flare panels to begin

For Butterfly Sleeve Tees

No additional measurements are typically required. Butterfly sleeves feature dramatic flowing sleeves approximately 9 inches or wider and maintain the original fit of your shirt.

For Ruffle Sleeve Tees

No additional measurements are typically required. Ruffle sleeves feature feminine ruffles approximately 5 inches wide and maintain the original fit of your shirt.

For Patchwork Ponchos

No additional measurements are typically required. This style transforms your shirt into a relaxed Free Size silhouette.

Step 5: We Create Your Wearable Art

Our artisans carefully select coordinating Kantha textiles or rayon patchwork fabrics and transform your garment into a one-of-a-kind Rethreadz creation.

Every piece is individually handcrafted and cannot be exactly duplicated.

Step 6: Enjoy Your One-of-a-Kind Piece

Once completed, we'll ship your custom wearable art back to you so you can enjoy a truly unique piece of sustainable fashion.

Please allow approximately 3 weeks from the date we receive your garment to upcycle.

Most orders are completed sooner, but we prefer to allow additional time during busy production periods.

What types of garments can I send?

Concert tees, band shirts, graphic tees, college shirts, sports team shirts, vacation shirts, sentimental keepsake garments, and denim are all great candidates for upcycling.

What is Kantha fabric?

Kantha is a traditional textile made from layered and hand-stitched fabrics. Each Kantha textile features unique colors, stitching, and patterns that make every garment one of a kind.

Can I send licensed concert tees, sports apparel, or college shirts?

Yes. Because you already own the garment, we can transform it into a custom one-of-a-kind piece for your personal use. We do not provide the garments; we create custom upcycled clothing using the item you send to us.

Is every item one of a kind?

Absolutely. Every Rethreadz creation is handcrafted using reclaimed textiles, vintage materials, and customer-supplied garments. No two pieces will ever be exactly alike.

Can I request specific colors?

Yes. Our artisans carefully coordinate fabrics to complement your garment, but you're welcome to leave color preferences with your order.

How long does production take?

Most custom orders are completed within approximately 3 weeks after we receive your garment.

Why does this item sometimes show sold out?

To maintain quality and reasonable turnaround times, we only accept a limited number of custom orders at one time. If the listing is sold out, check back soon for additional openings..

What's the difference between Butterfly Sleeves and Ruffle Sleeves?

Butterfly Sleeves

Feature softer, more feminine ruffles measuring approximately 5 inches wide, adding playful detail while maintaining a more traditional shape.

Kantha Additions

Hand wash or machine wash on delicate. Tumble dry low, hang or lay flat to dry.

Rayon Patchwork Additions

Hand wash recommended. Hang dry. Rayon may shrink if exposed to excessive heat.

• Shipping is FREE on all U.S. orders $100 and over! All standard shipping orders under $100 are shipped with USPS beginning at $5.00 shipping.
• Orders are processed and shipped out within 3-5 Business Days due to high order volume.
• FREE local pickup is available in Van Buren, AR.

• Main Street Threads does not currently offer refunds.  We do accept returns for store credit or we can offer size exchanges. 
• You have 21 days from purchase date to return for store credit. 
• Store credit expires 1 year after issuing and may be used towards purchase of in-stock items only. 
• All returned items must be returned unworn, unwashed, and undamaged with all original tags attached.  If returned items do not meet the above criteria, they will not be accepted for return and will be sent back to the customer.

Instructions for Returns/Exchanges:

• You can start the return process by emailing Main Street Threads at help@mainstreetthreadsvb.com
• Please include your order number and what the problem is exactly with the item.  If sizing is the issue we will check current inventory to see if we have the desired size.
• If we do have the needed size, you may send the item back at your expense.
• Once it is received and meets the criteria for exchanges we will then mail the exchanged size back to you at our expense.
• If we do not have the desired size in stock; you may still send the product back to us at your expense jfor store credit.
• If the product meets the criteria for exchange we will issue a merchandise credit via email within 3-5 days.
• Please note Main Street Threads is not responsible for lost or stolen packages.  We will do our best to help you locate your package but the customer is ultimately responsible for filing a claim with the shipping company.

How will I receive my Store Credit?

Expect an emailed Store Credit within 3-5 business days of the delivery of your return at our fulfillment center. Store Credit is calculated automatically to reflect any discounts and taxes at the time of purchase. Store Credit is not processed the day your item is delivered. It must be sorted, inspected, and processed. Store credit can be used on-line or in person at our brick and mortar location in Van Buren, AR.
